So what is this 'In a Heartbeat' all about?
It's about the fact that life is forever handing us change and asking us to do one of two things with it: Survive or Thrive.
Life can change 'in a heartbeat' and whether it's your health, your loved one's health, your finances in this sketchy economy, your job, or a myriad other life changing events, change is something you can either embrace or fight. You can accept that change is the only constant in life and Thrive, or tolerate the changes that come your way and merely Survive.
O P P O R T U N I T Y
An opportunity came along recently in the most unexpected of places, a parking lot at a local Fred Meyer. On the way out from a shopping trip, I ran into a friend, who also happens to be a really successful businessman and entreprenuer. While chatting about our families, he mentioned that he is now the CEO for Ekachai International Group, and is tasked with expanding Synergy Worldwide's international footprint. Synergy Worldwide produces a line of high quality supplements, including the cardiovascular supplement ProArgi-9 Plus.
"Gee," I said, "I want to work for you!"
He looked at me for a second and then fished out his business card, and told me to check Synergy Worldwide out.
"Anybody can do this," he said.
Now I am a busy Mother and we already own one business. As my younger kids are approaching school age, I have really been looking for the right opportunity to get back into the earning sector. Although I have researched opportunities to work from home, I have always been skeptical. But frankly, this friend is so successful I could not wait to get home and see what this was all about!
I logged onto his website and clicked play, watching three videos one right after the other. (You can watch A Miracle Molecule here.)
The videos were riveting, and not only introduced me to Synergy Worldwide, but also to the incredible Nobel Prize winning molecule L-arginine. I think my jaw actually dropped! I had no idea that cardiovascular disease was such a huge problem in the United States, and I had never heard of a natural supplement that was changing lives the way ProArgi-9 does.
Never mind that my very successful friend was recommending this great company, the message in these videos was so powerful I couln't wait to find out more. After meeting with him to learn about the business opportunity, I learned that Synergy Worldwide is a debt free company, publicly traded, and generated over 100 million in sales last year. I signed up and haven't looked back!
Synergy Worldwide is providing me with the opportunity to do what I have always wanted to do ~ Help others, market a product that I truly believe in, and pursue financial freedom for my family.
I have been blogging for while now, so starting a blog to share what I am learning, what kinds of marketing tecniques I am trying, introduce new Synergy products, mentor future down-liners, and generally just provide a forum for the business and these great products was a logical first step!
So here I am, pursuing a dream, and I wake up every day excited and full of ideas about how to share these exciting products and opportunities with people. I can't wait to hear about your Synergy experience, answer your questions, share ideas, and learn from each other!

Great resources for Network Marketers!!!
I just came across a wonderful set of books I have to share with you! The first, and a must read for anyone that is interested in network marketing is a great book by Don Failla called 'The 45 Second Presentation That Will Change Your Life". It has changed the way I am thinking about representing this great line of products.
I initially felt a lot of pressure to 'sell' when I signed on to represent Synergy products, especially because I am seeing such amazing results using the V3 products ProArgi-9, Core Greens, and Mystica myself.
However, the more I read about the benefits in medical trials and talk to actual people using these products, the more excited I get and I want to SHARE!
This book makes sharing the two-fold opportunity for better health and financial independence really easy! I highly recommend it! Approached from this angle, sharing vs. selling, the pressure is off and it becomes easy to talk to people about what I am learning and what I am doing.
The second book, which goes hand in hand with the first book, is called 'The System: The 3 Steps to Build a Large Successful Network Marketing Organization' also written by Don Failla with Nancy Failla.
(I am loving my kindle right now as I was able to purchase and start reading these in a matter of minutes:-)
Don and Nancy Failla are an incredible resource because they have done this and are very successful.
I have to point out one crucial point here: You really need to vet the products you are going to represent, use them yourself, and determine if you can enthusiastically recommend them to others. That is just key to being able to be effective and is just common sense. If you don't believe in the product you are representing, why should anyone else? In fact, one of the first questions I get asked is: "Do you take this?" Sharing the product with your family and friends also not only benefits them from a health standpoint, it gives you real life stories to share, stories about people you know and can get continual feedback from about how these great products are changing their health profiles.
I'll be reading and re-reading these books, and sharing with you how the 45 second presentation method works for me. Stay tuned!

Webinar, marketing, and personal testimonial

When I checked back a couple days later, he said they really liked it and wanted more pricing information.
My website was on the business card, but I am finding lots of people want to just buy the product from me. That was last Friday, and this morning, Monday, I dropped off some little cards with the pricing information and my name and phone number. That will make it easy for them to order it directly from me if they prefer.
I will let you know if I get many orders from that connection.
As a bonus, while waiting to talk to him last Friday, I talked to one of the gals that works with him, and after telling her that I was looking for marketing and networking ideas, she invited me to a local networking group that has chapters statewide! I attend my first meeting this Thursday and will let you know how that goes too.
